Overview

The “Stator ground fault protection 100 % (20 Hz)” function works with an injected 20-Hz voltage into the generator neutral point. It detects ground faults in the stator winding of generators connected to the electrical power system via a generator transformer, and also ground faults in the entire winding range (100%) including the machine neutral point.
