Overview
The “Voltage comparison supervision” function monitors the voltage-transformer circuits by comparing the voltages from 2 voltage transformers If failures in the voltage circuits are detected, voltage-related protection functions can be blocked. it requires the connection of 2 voltage measuring points to the voltage interface of the function group. You can take one of the voltages as the reference voltage and then the other becomes the main voltage. The reference voltage is used for comparison.
For more detailed information on “Voltage comparison supervision” function, refer to SIPROTEC 5 devices, V8.30 & higher manuals.
