Siemens / Positive sequence overcurrent protection (ANSI 50/51) _ Setting & highlights _ SI5028

Table of Contents

Overview

The “Positive sequence overcurrent protection” function detects short circuits in electric equipment. It can be applied when the zero-sequence current or negative-sequence current should not influence the tripping, for example, on the tertiary delta winding of an auto transformer.

For more detailed information on “Positive sequence overcurrent protection” function, refer to SIPROTEC 5 devices, V8.30 & higher manuals.
