Table of Contents

Overview

The “Overvoltage protection with zero sequence voltage/residual voltage” function detects ground faults in isolated or arc-suppression-coil-grounded systems, determines the phase affected by the ground fault and works with electrical machines to detect ground faults in the stator winding.

For more detailed information on “Overvoltage protection with zero sequence voltage/residual voltage” function, refer to SIPROTEC 5 devices, V8.30 & higher manuals.
