Overview

The “Fault locator plus” function is used for 2-sided measurement of the distance to the fault location. It also reliably detects the fault location in case of 2-sided infeed, ground faults, and in case of fault resistances and can be used for fault-location determination in case of non-homogeneous lines. The Fault locator plus function calculates the fault location with the measured values of both line ends.
