Overview
The “Automatic reclosing” function automatically closes overhead lines after arc short-circuits. It is only permissible for overhead lines, because only the possibility of self-activated extinguishing of an arc short-circuit exists here. It can be controlled by integrated protection functions and by external protection devices. The automatic reclosing can occur through an external automatic reclosing function via binary inputs.
