Overview
The “Abnormal frequency protection” function monitors the frequency of the generator. It supervises the duration of the generator in the set frequency band, and generates an alarm or a trip of the generator. The function only protects the turbines. If the turbines operate too long in the set frequency band, the function leads to a trip.
