Overview

The “Distance protection zone, quadrilateral characteristic (ZMRPDIS) together with Phase selection, quadrilateral characteristic with settable angle (FRPSPDIS)” has functionality for load encroachment, which increases the possibility to detect high resistive faults on heavily loaded lines, as shown below:
